    Lixergy was founded in Trondheim, Norway, in early 2025 based on a novel technological concept for the extraction of lithium carbonate from both primary and secondary sources. The core concept was invented by CEO Daniel Sveva Dowsett and received confirmed novelty and patentability from the Norwegian Patent Office on the 9th of April 2025. Following this, the company was formally established on the 5th of May 2025 with a 60/40 ownership split between the founding partners.
